WHO CAN USE THE SWITCHME BUSINESS COMPARISON TOOL ?

The Switchme business comparison tool is designed to offer a fast and accurate electricity-only comparison for small-medium business sites. These are business sites that are categorised by their respective networks as being non-domestic and also non-commercial.

The Switchme calculator will automatically verify your ICP as being SME or otherwise before proceeding with the comparison.

THE SWITCHING PROCESS

Please note that your electricity supply will not be interrupted during the switching process.

Your chosen retailer will receive your signup details and will then initiate a switch from your current retailer.

Under new Government rules, the switching process must not take any longer than 10 days.

PREVIOUS RETAILER

During the switching process, your previous retailer may contact you to obtain a final read, and will issue a final bill. In most circumstances, your final bill will be based on an estimated meter read.

NEW RETAILER

Your new retailer will contact you in the first 2 weeks and provide you with your necessary account details. If you do not hear from your chosen retailer within 15 days of your switch, don't panic. Give us a call on 03 371 9449 and we will follow up with the retailer on your behalf.

You new retailer may also contact you to collect further information such as direct debit details and require you to sign a supply agreement (if applicable).
