Who owns Nova Energy?

Where is their head office?

Nova Energy's head office is located at The Todd Building, Brandon Street, Wellington.

How often will my meters be read?

Nova Energy use a smart meter that will provide a monthly read. For sites not fitted with a smart meter, Nova Energy will typically have a meter reader manually read the meter every second month. You may be asked to provide specific access details to assist the reader in gaining this read.

My current retailer installed a smart meter and can read it remotely. Will my new retailer be able to read this meter remotely also?

Your new retailer may not necessarily be able to read your current Smart meter. Some retailers have the technology to remotely read other retailer’s meters, but this is not always the case. If you find your meter is incompatible with your new chosen retailer they will continue to send a meter reader to manually read it, or continue producing estimate bills when this is not possible.
