How to read your business power bill

In order for Switchme to calculate an accurate comparison and offer the best energy deals for your business, it is important that the correct information from your bill is used when populating each field of the comparison tool.

The key details that we require from you are: your ICP number, your meter type/plan and your monthly/yearly consumption in kWh.

The location of these key invoice details can sometimes be difficult to locate and are often printed on different areas of the invoice dependant on which retailer you are with. This page will allow you to confidently locate these details for input into the comparison tool.

Sometimes additional lines charges for capacity can also apply, this charge is measured in kVA and will be presented on your bill as an additional daily charge. The Switchme calculator will automatically populate any applicable capacity charge details once you have correctly entered and validated your ICP number.
